Chad Roberts
Role: Lead Pastor

Pastor Chad is passionate about preaching. It is preaching that God has sovereingly ordained to rescue sinners leading to salvation. Preaching is not yelling. Rather, it is the careful study, thoughtful explaination and passionate proclaiming of the gospel. Preaching literally means to herald good news and that is what Pastor Chad loves to do week in and week out at PCC. Like unpacking a treasure chest of sapphires, rubies, diamonds and pearls, we love to handle the precious stones of God's Word.

As we continue to follow Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary journey, we come to a city called Lystra. What is fascinating about this portion of Scripture is to see how Satan continues to try to oppose God's work, but instead of using persecution, as he has in other cities, this time he attempts to use pride. After a great miracle, the people of Lystra try to worship Paul and Barnabas as gods. They quickly shut it down and share the gospel of the "Living God" with the people of the city. Discover how Paul and Barnabas stayed focused by staying on mission with what God had called them to do. This is the 36th sermon in the Book of Acts.
