Got a question? Here are a few of the most Frequently Asked Questions we receive:
I’m looking for a church in Kingsport. What can I expect if I come to Preaching Christ Church?
You can expect a casual atmosphere and friendly faces. Our mission is Life-Change, so we hope that from the minute you enter our church, you feel like family.
Where do I park?
Our parking signs will direct you to a parking space.
What do I need to know before I go in?
As you walk in the building, one of the first things you’ll see is our Welcome Center. These folks can answer all of your questions and direct you to the right place.
Once inside, what do I do with my children?
We have specific environments during service for Nursery age – 5th grade. If you have children (Babies - 3rd Grade) and you’d like to check them into the Cuddlers & Crawlers Nursery or Rock Alley, our volunteers will direct you to the Family Life Lobby, where another volunteer will help you sign in your kids and get them to their proper groups. Your children will enjoy free breakfast, a lesson, music, crafts, and more—all geared specifically to their age group.
Then what do I do?
After dropping off your kids, you’ll head into the auditorium. Someone will greet you at the entrance to the auditorium. Feel free to ask them any questions. They are there to help.
Am I allowed to bring my morning coffee into church?
By all means – We have FREE Coffee and Muffins available in our Lobby from 10am - 11am every Sunday!
Do I need to dress up?
No. Get on your casual clothes and join us Sundays at 11am!.
What is the worship service like?
Our services always include a live band and our worship music is selected with our guests in mind. Our sermons are biblical and relevant to everyday life. We hope this is a time where you feel comfortable and can easily connect with God.
What happens after the service?
After church, we invite you to our lobby to meet with one of our pastors who would love to meet you and answer any questions you might have.
Oh, and don’t forget your kids! You can pick them up from the Family Life Lobby where you dropped them off.
